ngAstro is a research-driven initiative dedicated to expanding the frontier of astrophotography through innovation in control systems, simulation, and mount mechanics — with a particular focus on Alt-Az telescopes.
We're a small team of engineers, developers, and astrophotographers combining deep technical experience with a shared passion for the night sky. Our work bridges theory and practice, using precise modeling, software automation, and hands-on telescope engineering to push boundaries that many have long considered fixed.
We believe that with the right tools and understanding, Alt-Az platforms can rival the performance of traditional equatorial mounts — opening new doors for imagers around the world.
